Research to the People maintains an internal IRB to provide ethical oversight across our hackathon consortium. As teams analyze multiomics data from our patient cases, the Research to the People IRB reviews protocols for informed consent, risk-benefit, and data privacy. Our team applies accredited IRB standards at the pace our rapid, distributed hackathon format. Our goal is maximum speed, openness and compliance.
